However, the increasing use of rideshare platforms has also brought growing concerns about passenger safety, distracted driving, impaired driving, and the importance of making responsible transportation choices. At <a href=\"\/\">Rosenthal Injury Law<\/a>, we recognize that many students have witnessed firsthand the impact that unsafe driving behaviors and rideshare-related accidents can have on individuals, families, and communities. The Rideshare Safety Scholarship was created to encourage students to think critically about roadway safety, personal responsibility, and the role education can play in preventing accidents and protecting passengers. We invite applicants to share their perspectives on rideshare safety, how these issues have shaped their understanding of responsibility and community awareness, and the ways they hope to contribute to safer transportation practices in the future. Through this scholarship, we aim to support students who are passionate about promoting safer roads and inspiring positive change through advocacy, education, and leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Application Deadline: January 31, 2027<\/p>\n<p>Award Amount: $1,000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a vocational program or two to four year post-secondary institution.<\/li>\n<li>Employees of Rosenthal Injury Law, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the competition.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates for this scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate must fill out the form below with all necessary information<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must submit a <strong>750-1,000<\/strong> word essay response to the prompt: <strong>Uber and Lyft are convenient ways for students to get to their destination. When traveling on or off campus, it is important to stay safe. Highlight a safety feature that you appreciate and one that you would like to see the rideshare industry implement to keep students safe.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Please note that all essays will be checked for AI writing. If AI writing is deemed present in the essay, the application will be denied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must submit a professional resum\u00e9 that lists their experience, both professional and academic.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students can submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to students either from or attending secondary school in Colorado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The recipient of the Rideshare Safety Scholarship will be chosen during the month following the scholarship deadline.<\/p>\n<p>For all scholarship-related inquiries, please use this <a href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/261534556395162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>contact form<\/strong><\/a>.
